A timeless aesthetic coupled with enduring comfort; Contour elevates all environments. It has been designed to seamlessly integrate into any office space while being designed with progressive environmental considerations in mind.
The Contour Chair has a generous range of base options, including: 4-star pyramidal black or polished base, 4-star pyramidal castor black or polished base, 5-star castor polished base, 4-leg black base and Sled black base.
Additionally, it is available with 3 different back heights – Low, Mid and High. Users can customise the Contour collection to suit their specific needs.
We ensured that any aspects of the design that could be produced using recyclable or recycled materials were done so during the design process. Where plastic components were required, we liaised with the suppliers to ensure that the plastic components were easy to disassemble and could be recycled by the end-user.
One of the key sustainable considerations for Contour was the ethos of fast and slow-moving parts. This was incorporated into the design process by ensuring the components that wear quicker than others can easily be removed and replaced. The bases can be interchanged over time without affecting the chair's body. The upholstery was designed to be easily removed and re-upholstered. This was achieved using a zipped jacket, whilst a removable seat pad and headrest ensures these can be re-upholstered individually.
